THE PROJECT | Project Meetings | Lithuania: 4th-6th June 2015
On 3-6th June 2015 there was an international project meeting in Graziskiu gimnazija, Lithuania with the team members from Germany, Slovakia, Italy, Cyprus and Spain. The team members were shown some national traditions, such as traditional dances, facts about our school. The students introduced their educational business company “Grazuoliu duona” that bakes and sells bread in order to promote young people’s entrepreneurship. Such topics as participation in different projects, competitions, stress on leadership and students’ motivation were touched. Also, the upcoming activities were discussed, such as creating “Video Dictionary” and “Brainfight” that would help to develop European dimension and add to learning English, as well as to overall implementation of the project aims.
During the meetings each country presented their tasks done, shared experience in order the partners could take an advantage from good practices. Moreover, the teachers from Slovakia shared their experience working with the method of the Dalton plan which is a special form of teaching where students work at their own speed, paying attention at the current and constant interests of students.
The team members had a chance to explore cultural, historical and natural heritage of Lithuania, as well as experience local traditions and hospitality of local people that were proud of having guests in our country. The project meeting was both productive and accompanied by good emotions.

Project meeting in Lithuania
